I didn't say otherwise. What is under dispute is the law that states it's OK to seize money simply for carrying it in cash form. Charges of a criminal offense need to be filed in order for property to be seized as evidence of a criminal offense.

I'm also unclear as to what you mean by this "You can have property seized as evidence with no proof"

It isn't about what the guy was using the cash for. It was about what evidence the officer had that the guy was using it for illegal activity. Simply having that amount of cash on you is not evidence that it will be used for illegal activity. And to say that he is guilty until proven otherwise is to completely ignore how our judicial system works.

And just because the law is openly known doesn't make it OK or not corrupt.

And you seemed to ignore the inconsistencies in the officer's police report with what he admitted to in the interview.

Aren't you just sort of saying the same thing as those who quit marijuana because they assert it was dominating their life? You've just reasoned that one can still consume the substance without it dominating your life.

Either way, though, you're still just saying that the substance, or reddit, or whatever, was dominating the individuals life to the point where it was negatively impacting their work ethic, emotions, relationships, job, school or whatever. It's a symbiotic relationship, of sorts, where that particular thing in those particular amounts is not conducive to a productive and fulfilling life. So it is sort of the substance at issue here, just not entirely.

Reading is definitely a good hobby, but it can also be something that can be spoiled by life problems. It just seems like a medium that requires you to work for the immersion, as opposed to movies or video games that steal your attention very easily. And if you're worried about "x" or "Y" "or "Z", sometimes it can be difficult to retain attention. What books do you like the most? Check out /r/books if you haven't yet.

You might also try gardening. I suppose the downside is the end of the growing season. But if you're interested, /r/gardening can help give you some basics. It's time consuming, it's relaxing, it's outside...sometimes it's exercise (it might actually be more exercise than relaxation). If you don't have land to work (a backyard), a lot of cities have public plots you can rent out.

I'm with you on that. Part of what eases me in my anxiety both of the hypochondriac type and the fear of death type is what I call "living". I don't mean that in a condescending way either. I'm trying to be very sincere. It took me a while to figure out that what I like most, what eases me the most, is just occupying myself with things to do. Work. Family. Friends. Hobbies.

I won't say it gets rid of the fear of death, but it sure puts it somewhere where it doesn't poke at me incessantly.

I will also add that this is NOT how I space my corn. I have about 4 rows of 7 plants in each. Each plant is about 10 inches spaced apart, but the rows are only about 15 inches spaced apart. I might be wrong, I'll have to double check in the evening when I can. The point being, I don't space my corn the way the seed package tells me, and I still got a decent yield last season.

This will be my second season with corn, so I won't know until late this summer on my yield. The only issue Is seemed to have last year was a watering issue. Everything seemed to pollinate well.

It looks like way too small a space for any corn. It's recommended to have at least 3 rows of corn in order to help pollination (they are wind pollinated), and the spacing (according to my seed packet) is 6-10 inches between each plant in the rows, and each row should be spaced 2-3 feet.

So you'll have something that looks like this-

However, there might be varieties of corn that you can grow that are more conducive to a square foot gardening method, where the corn is planted much closer together.
