HTHT is not more likely than TTTT, but getting two heads and two tails out of four flips is far more likely than getting four tails because there are more combinations that will give you 2H2T compared to just one outcome that will give you 4T.

It's pretty easy and safe to go back and forth. The drawback is that it's best to do a full wipe, so you have to reconfigure a lot of the apps on the phone everytime.

I think it's vital not to interrupt the process, so make sure you've got at least 50% battery before flashing anything.

Yes, in theory. In practise I could never figure out what is safe to remove and what not. In the end I broke my Bluetooth and Titanium wouldn't restore it, and I left lots of things fearing that they might be needed by Touchwiz somehow.

The S2 is a great phone, and it's getting cheaper all the time. I would recommend buying it and using Touchwiz for a week or two and then switching to CM9. Then you can see for yourself which you like better.

I would suggest trying both out, but I think you'll find that Touchwiz comes with so much crap bloatware that it bogs the phone down. I believe the FM radio is not working in CM9. Touchwiz's noise reduction is so good that when I was using it, people would ask me why I'm yelling and I'd tell them I'm yelling because I'm in a loud bar and they would say they can't hear anything except me.
