Lost a few pounds over the last few years: by Sybillain loseit

Sweetie, my self-esteem was boosted before I posted that, it's why I posted it. And that last photo was the best example in my poor lighting of how flat my stomach is, and the slightly side angle shows that I no longer have love handles. It must be horrible to walk around in life lurking on other people and waiting to pounce, just for the self-satisfaction of spreading your negativity. I pity you. Adios brother!
Think what you like, it seems as if you are taking some serious personal issue with it. It also appears that you didn't bother to read a lot of the comments either. Many are from mothers and husbands with wives grappling with weight issues. If you've never dealt with that in a society that worships the Barbie Doll, then you'll never get it. I just gave a brief moment of hope to some beautiful women that don't feel beautiful. Today, this will all be forgotten, but yesterday, they felt a little better for while after being shown some light at the end of the tunnel. I feel bad for you that you would try to diminish that for anyone for your own selfish reasons. So lets just agree to disagree. Good luck to you brother.
No shit Sherlock! You've solved this crime and outed me, Captain Obvious! You get a gold star for the day.

Lol! Now, now stop fighting. ;) There is a valid point to what he is saying about my camera angle. I did take many self photos and I did pick the one that I felt was most flattering. But give me some credit. I took the photo right after a workout and I was sweaty and nasty and I didn't even bother to do my hair. :) The lighting in our house is also very poor no matter where you go and that is the only full length mirror I own so I had to prop it up for a full view. I did my best to show the most but overall, I've overcome a great deal of health issues (PCOS, hypo-thyroidism, fatigued adrenal gland, pre-diabetes, arthritis, obesity (obviously), etc.) So even though you may have a small point, I'm still proud. :)
Thank you. :) My arms aren't the only part that need continuous work. Unfortunately I have a birth defect in my sternum. I have an actual hole that is getting bigger as time goes on and certain (most) upper body exercises make the condition worse. The pain is so severe that it's equivalent to breaking a bone (I know as I've broken a few). So the arms will come in time I hope. :)
LMAO!
I'm a whoppen 5'3''. I want to get to 140 and for the first time in my life I know I'll be able to do it. I've grappled with obesity since I was 8 years old.
The skin takes time and lots of strength training to get it tight. For many body types (like mine) the skin has been so stretched for so long that I can't simply lose weight, I have to do more. Your wife can do it if I can! :) BTW-I still have extra skin I'm working on.
I do feel amazing especially since I've rid myself of health issues such as a hypo-active thyroid, and many others issues. :)
Lol! Thanks. :)

What has tightened only did so because of the strength training. I'm still working on a great deal of it still. Just keep working at it, it may take a while.
:) I get it...English major.
I'm one of America's first obese children. I have had lifelong health issues that I have only just rid myself of within the last few months. I know you can't see it in the photo but I have a great deal of "leftovers". The good news is, it's shrinking as I shrink. I hope mine will someday be all gone as well. :)
You'll like this if you do it. I don't have food cravings anymore and I actually could care less about food now. Don't get me wrong, I still like cheesecake, but I don't feel like I "have" to have it. Good luck to you! :)
Aww, thank you. :)
Too funny. :) Thank you!!
I think all good moms are sexy just for being a good mom. Eye candy I agree is nice to add to the package though. Lol!
I've been with my husband since 1996. We're high school sweeties. :)
Wow! Thank you so much. :)
Good for you and keep it up! :D
Don't be too hard on yourself. Your body is creating a miracle for this earth and every pound you put on is a blessing. I know it's hard sometimes and it may take a while to get your body back but try not to get discouraged, it will come back. :)
He most certainly is lucky. Lol! ;)
Thank you for the compliment. My hips can be a challenge however as my waist is much smaller. It makes for interesting retail therapy at times. :)
I understand totally. That is on the females greatest hits list, it's how we compliment one another. ;)
For some people it's slow and others it's fast. I have had many other health issues that I've had to overcome (some I never will) that slows my progress.
